Here's a stately, timeless and enduring design. The Barcalounger Danbury II features classic ball and claw legs, adjustable upper and lower back pillows, and sculptured wings. All upholstered in 100% top grain leather with brass nail head trim. Offered in Stetson Bordeaux leather with an espresso wood finish. The Barcalounger Danbury II is part of the Vintage Reserve series. This collection of traditional leather chairs feature elements like nail head trim, carved wooden legs, rich leather selections, Cherry and Walnut exterior frames, and scrolled arm rests. There's no ugly handle with these chairs. Just a gentle push on the arms allows you to recline in complete comfort.

Beautiful Piece of Furniture

I had a Barcalounger recliner years ago in our old house that I absolutely loved. When we sold the house, that chair was part of the buyers list of "wants".
I bought a new recliner for our new house, but made the mistake of not getting a Barcalounger - was never really happy with it.
Decided to treat myself and get myself a new Barcalounger Danbury II in Coffee leather.
This chair is fantastic, I love everything about it, fits perfectly in our living room.
Very easy process of purchasing as well, the Lift and Massage Chair folks were extremely helpful when I called them with a few questions.
I highly recommend this chair, and the Lift and Massage Chair folks, if you're thinking about purchasing a new recliner.
I'm 100% satisfied.

Beautiful & comfy but a bit of a struggle

The look of this chair is exactly what I wanted at a great price. Shipping was s breeze. When seated upright, it is extremely comfortable. I have significant back issues, POTS and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, so this chair needs to be easy for me to operate and not be hard to rise from. I wish the leg rest extended out a little further but I’m okay with it. My major reason for not giving the chair the top rating is that it’s hard to move the chair from reclining to upright. Even my strong husband struggles with it. We have tried WD40 on the hardware and hope that will help. I would appreciate suggestions on how we can make it move up and down easier.

Just what we wanted

We'd been looking for the perfect leather recliner for months. This one looked right and is right for us. The leather is very soft. There's enough room to read to a grandchild comfortably in this chair. The seat is a little high, but seats settle down with time.

Beautiful chair

I received my chair a week ago. The leather is beautiful. It is a very large chair, maybe too big for me. I probably should have opted for a smaller chair. However, it certainly is nice and the service was great. The Churchill model would fit me better and if I ever find someone who would like this model, I will sell to them and reorder a smaller chair.

Decent Chair But.....

I have tightened the wing nuts on each side. The chair still is very easy. I am trying to source heavier springs?
