This Barcalounger chair includes roll arms, tapered wood feet, and a box seat cushion. This Barcalounger chair is offered in 100% full grain leather with expresso wood trim. Available in colors coffee and Bordeaux. The Barcalounger Briarwood II is part of the Vintage Reserve series. This collection of recliners features traditional design elements like nail head trim, carved wooden legs, rich leather selections, Cherry and Walnut exterior frames, and scrolled arm rests. There's no ugly handle with these chairs. Just a gentle push on the arms allows you to recline in complete comfort.

Chair was packaged well and arrived in great shape. Easy enough to assemble. The color is spot on chocolate brown with no red tint than I was afraid it might have. Only gave 4 stars because it was delivered in a full sized 18 wheeler truck that could not get into my gated neighborhood. Had to make arrangements to meet in a parking lot leaving me to unload it out of my pickup truck with my wife. Without a pick up truck I would have had a problem receiving. If you live in a place that an 18 wheeler cannot enter, call the shipping company and asked that it be delivered on a “pup”. It’s a smaller vehicle with fewer limitations. Beautiful chair though.
Surprisingly all freight companies use 18 wheelers for residential deliveries. Yes, it sounds crazy but they're trying to get as many deliveries as possible with one truck/driver. There are a small number of areas where the freight company will have smaller trucks available. But in 98% of deliveries they all use semi-trucks/trailers. Unfortunately there are no other options available due to the weight and size of the chair & box. The boxes are too big and heavy for companies like UPS or Fed Ex. It is an odd part of online residential furniture delivery.
I purchased this chair with the help from Randy he’s the best. The color is Shoreham Gray it is a dark gray.
Very comfortable. Very well packaged and a snap to put together. The delivery was very fast and they
even put it in the garage for me. I would buy another chair from Lift and Massage Chairs in a heartbeat.
Finally the reclining mechanism is so smooth that my wife can even do it.
This is a very comfortable chair, just a little disappointed in the color, it is quite different than the picture but it is still very nice. I’m a bit weak so it is hard to recline but the chair is for my husband and he doesn’t have any trouble at all.
My husband has a mid-century leather recliner that looked great, but was just not big enough for his 6'3" frame. We started searching for a comfortable, roomy, and attractive leather chair, that would also look great in our family room. We found the Barcalounger Briarwood in Tawny on the Lift and Massage Chairs website, at an extremely competitive price compared to all the other stores that sold them. I emailed Randy at L&MC and asked him numerous questions about assembly and delivery, and he wrote back to me immediately which I appreciated. The chair also arrived pretty quickly and was indeed easy to assemble (I chose free shipping, with no assembly). My husband is extremely happy with it. It is so much more comfortable than the other recliner that we have. The leather is soft, and it's also a really nice looking chair, which I appreciate because recliners are not always beautiful!
